Complete a few short questions about your hire. Where, when and for how long pretty much covers it.
The Hire desk will check availability, send you confirmation of the booking and the paperwork.
Payment is requested with the booking, and must be received in full ahead of your hire date.
What time will my machine arrive?
Our hire units will arrive at, or before 08:00 AM of the morning of your hire.
I have never used one, is there anything I need to know?
Our drivers can spend a few minutes to demonstrate how to operate the machine. It's very important to pay attention to the do's and don'ts, such as please do not try to start the Mini Crusher with product in the jaws. The machine must be turned on with the crusher operating being bricks or concrete are added.
Can we put rebar concrete through it?
In short, no. Rebar will severely damage the crusher and you as the hirer will be liable for any consequential damage
What can you put through the crusher?
Bricks, blocks, and concrete slabs is ideal material for the Tigerbite 425. Rebar and tarmac are not suitable, or permitted, to go through the crusher. These materials are very likely to damage it.
Are there any common issues and how to avoid them?
The main one is that it runs out of petrol. The Tigerbite 425 will work through it's tank in approximately 2 hours. So we recommend keeping an eye on it, and topping it up frequently.
Also never (ever) try to start the unit with product in the jaw. Always add your bricks and concrete whilst the mini crusher is operational.
